Water and why it’s important.
Water is very important to the life of all living things. Although water covers 70% of our earth, there is only 1% fresh water for drinking, and we shouldn’t waste it. Water is important to us in many ways. As u saw on the above chart, water is used around our houses, and even outside in our day-to-day lives. We cannot live without water. It makes up 50-90% of our bodies, and is the most important thing to all humans. Below are some examples of what we use water for.
• Drinking
• Cooking
• Washing clothes
• Washing dishes
• Showering
• Garden use
• Car wash
We should really REDUCE the amount of water we use, REUSE the water we can, and RECYCLE rainwater.
Why water is essential to life
Water is a key component to our lives. Most people nowadays only think about the quality of water they drink. They do not think about how much water is important to us, and how much we should conserve it. We should also reconsider the fact that our body cannot live without water, and all living things will eventually die if there was no water.
Water is essential to our lives because most things we do to live, requires water. Water helps us move, and helps give the energy that we need. It is used for many purposes, mainly for drinking because otherwise, the blood in our bodies will clot, and we’ll eventually die. Water is important not just to us, but to all living things including plants and animals. Water helps life, water is life. Below are some reasons that state why water is important to us.
1. Without water, there will be no plants, and no food for us.
2. Without water we will instantly get dehydrated.
3. Water helps our blood to circulate.
4. Water lubricates joints which allow you to move without any pain.
5. Water keeps body temperature normal, and keeps the body warm.
6. Water helps the digestive and many other systems in our body!
7. Without water there would be nothing to cool our planets.
8. Water helps us to think clearly.
9. Water carries nutrients to all parts of our body.
10. None of our body parts will function properly without water.
Water is THE MOST essential thing to a healthy life, and it should be conserved for long term sustainability.
Why do we need to conserve water?
We know that almost three quarter of the earth's surface is covered in water, but is in the form of icebergs and glaciers. We need this water for most of our daily activities, so we need to conserve it.
Water conservation is very important and essential to the environment, and the future of all human beings. Water conservation is when we minimize the amount of water we use every day, by simply saving the water so that it can prevent water shortages, and be used for ourselves, and all future generations. If we start saving water now, it will be easier to save more water for the future.
So, if we start conserving water now, there will be more water available for the future, there will be more longer water sustainability, and we can save it for a longer period of time.
How does water conservation help in Long term water sustainability?
Long Term Water Sustainability means to use water continuously for a longer period of time. If we conserve water now, it will help us sustain it for a longer time. We can start sustaining water by doing small things that reduce the amount of water being used. For example, we can store a jug of water in our fridge to keep it cold, instead of wasting a ton of water on the ice machine. If we start small now, it will be helpful to many in no time! If we start conserving water now, there will be more water sustaining for a longer time.
So water conservation helps long term water sustainability because if we conserve water now, there will be more water for the future, and it will be used continuously for a longer time.
